Loyal followers of the pop star are calling for that a individual who breached a barrier and seized the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be detained or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating clip reveals the Australian man pushing past photographers and rushing toward Grande while the performers proceeded down a event pathway accompanied by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being detained", though court documents revealed that he was due to attend court on the following morning. It is unknown if he was charged.

Pattern of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account features videos of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney performance in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last December.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is obviously a legal violation," commented an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Show Disapproval Over the Star's Past Trauma

Many supporters accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and wounding numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said another message on Instagram.

Several supporters also faulted event staff at the gathering for not being vigilant enough; while some called for social media platforms to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In clips spreading on the internet, Grande appeared shocked when she was touched by the man. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the remaining proceedings proceeded as normal.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Hundreds of Singapore supporters had queued up to meet the actors of Wicked

Many of fans had gathered in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had queued for as long as many hours before it began.

The motion picture, to be premiered on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a two-film adaptation of the popular Broadway and West End production Wicked, which centers on the unlikely relationship between two distinct sorceresses.

The show itself is a adaptation of the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink glittering gown at the premiere while Erivo, who portrays the Elphaba, wore a sleek black dress featuring roses.

They were accompanied by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the top-earning film of the previous year in the UK, and received ten Oscar nominations, winning two for excellent wardrobe and set decoration.
